Henry's First Day
Henry had a one hour day of school on Thursday, and then his first full three hour day on Friday. He did great - on Thursday he walked right into his classroom and would barely wave goodbye to me. When I came back an hour later to pick him up, he told me, "I'm not going home!!"
On Friday I dropped him off through the carpool line with no problem. He got right out of the car with Mrs. Harrell and said, "Let's go to school!" Jack was in the car (he doesn't have school on Fridays) and was beaming from ear to ear as he watched Henry get out of the car and go to school. He was so proud of him! The only tears shed by Henry were at the very end of the day on Friday - when I wasn't the first car in the carpool pick-up line. Luckily, I was the third car. So proud of you, Henny!
I try to take a picture of Hen before school, but this is the best I can get...
Then he finds the bunny crackers that we're bringing for the class snack...uh oh, this could mean trouble....luckily we had a second box in the pantry as he insisted on having a few.
