Jack's First Day of School....and Bus Ride!

Today was Jack's first day of school. He is returning to Westridge Elementary for preschool - the same Rockwood preschool where he began last March. He was so excited to see his friends and his teachers (his teachers/speech therapist are the same as last Spring). But he was even more excited to ride the bus to school! Transportation is offered to all preschoolers in the IEP program, and while we didn't use it last Spring, now that Gracie is here we thought that it might make things easier - assuming Jack liked it, of course. Well, he hopped right on the bus and never even hesitated. It is a small bus, picking up only a few kids and has special harness seat belts for preschoolers, and an attendant that rides the bus and helps the kids. Jack's attendant's name is Angelo and Jack really liked him. He will be on the bus with Jack every day! Way to go Jack!

Ready for his first day of school (notice the Special Agent Oso guys that had to be in the picture too.)

His new Buzz Lightyear backpack!

Waiting outside for the bus. It picks Jack up at the end of our driveway!

Mr. Angelo helps Jack onto the bus.

Henry waiting for Jack to come home!

Here comes the bus!

Here comes Jack! Way to go Jackie. We are so proud of you!

We are very proud of Jack too! How wonderful for you to have him picked up at your house. When does Henry get to start?
