Under Construction

Sorry we've been missing in action lately. Our life is quite literally "under construction" right now.

Jack had his adenoids removed on Tuesday. We took him to the ENT a couple weeks ago because Jack is a mouth breather, snores like crazy, and has sleep apnea. The ENT predicted that Jack's adenoids were huge and that his airway to his nose was probably almost 100% blocked! The surgery should help Jack with his breathing and speech. He did great and is already back to his normal self. Here's a picture of Jack after surgery with the balloon bouquet that MoMo and Pops sent him - he loved it!

Then, of course, why not finish your basement a month before the baby is due? We are into week 5 and will hopefully be finished in another week. Things are going more smoothly now, although it was a little shaky in the beginning. We ended up putting in a sump pump after water came pouring in from around our foundation. Good stuff. Now the dry wall is up and we are well on our way.

And then of course, Mommy is pretty much under construction as well. This baby has settled in and is ready to go. 4 weeks and counting!
