Changes

As some of you know, Jack started at a new preschool this week. Now that he's turned three, he has qualified to receive speech therapy and occupational therapy through our school district (Rockwood), which is great! Their recommendation was that he immediately begin attending their preschool 4 mornings per week where he will receive all of his therapy while at school. And all of his school and therapy is covered by taxes! It has been bittersweet, since Jack loved his other preschool - PUNS. And it will be an interesting change going from 2 to 4 mornings/week! Mommy wasn't quite ready to let go of him for that long already. But we know that this could be a great opportunity for him.

He started on Tuesday and we are so proud of him. We can't believe how well he has adjusted to this sudden, big change. I dropped him off through carpool and he walked right into school with his new teacher and never shed a tear. His teachers have said that he has had two "wonderful" days so far and that he really seems to like school! We are so glad! He is excited that he has music class everyday, and has enjoyed stamping and painting at school. He also likes all of his teachers - Ms. Leslie, Ms. Patty & Ms. Kathy. He gets a lot of individualized attention, which is nice. Jack - we are SO proud of you and love you so much.
