Big Boy Beds

Lots of changes around here lately!! For Jack's birthday we put together his "big boy room" - it is finally complete. This will be the room that he and Henry share for years to come once the new baby moves into the nursery. Both boys were thrilled! They love to spell out their names on their pillows, carry around their sock monkeys, and especially like the model airplanes that hang from the ceiling! And of course, beneath those blue comforters are none other than "Lightning McQueen" (from Cars) sheets! The beds are from Dede's house - they are the same beds that Nana slept in with her siblings when she was little! Jack has adjusted great to sleeping in a "big bed" (we have side rails that come out at naps and nightime, but can tuck under the mattress during the day). Henry is still in his own room, but has had some changes of his own this week!! He climbed out of his crib on Sunday afternoon, so we set up the toddler bed in his room. He loves it! He has slept in it the past three nights. What a big boy! That transition was WAY too easy.

The boys' favorite - airplanes that fly!

Jack is so proud of Henry for sleeping in a big boy bed!
