Jack's Day Out

That's right. Now that Jack is two he gets his very own day out once a week! He started "Jack's Day Out" at Parkway United Nursery School last Thursday. He was really excited for his first day, and ran in to his classroom full of toys and special activities without looking back. Mommy gave him a quick kiss and went home to let Jack have his day from 9-noon.

Trouble is, one of Jack's teachers called around 9:45am to say that Jack was pretty upset once he realized that Mommy had left and that it would probably be best to pick him up early today. She said that it might take a few times for Jack to understand that Mommy leaves and then comes back.

Since Thursday we have been discussing school and the fact that it is really fun and that Mommy always comes back. If you ask Jack how school was he will say, "Mama back." That's right Jack, Mommy always comes back. We're going to give it another try this Thursday. Hopefully he will last longer than 45 minutes!!!
