The Elf on the Shelf

Two nights ago, Santa sent one of his little Elves to keep an eye on us. He arrived on a shelf in our family room, and brought a book with him called, "The Elf on the Shelf." The book told us all about him and how he has come to keep an eye on us before Christmas. We named him "Nick" after St. Nick (Jack's idea!). He flies to the North Pole and reports back to Santa every night. We come down each morning to find him sitting in a new spot! We are trying to be on our best behavior so that Santa brings us lots of presents. Welcome to our house Nick!
