Prunty Family Update

First of all, WAY TO GO CARDINALS!

Wow! It's been a while. Yes, we know, our blog has been dying a slow death. The truth is that life has been wonderfully busy and we just haven't been able to find the time! Or honestly, if we do have a few minutes of free time, we choose to collapse on the couch in utter exhaustion. Can you really blame us?

We had a FABULOUS fun-filled summer and received wonderful news that Baby Prunty #4 is on his way (yes, I said "HIS" way) and is due to arrive on St. Patrick's Day. Very fitting considering our family's strong Irish heritage. I can't help but wonder if my Dad had something to do with that!

Here are some recent pics of Baby Boy Prunty. Jack and Henry are excited and keep telling me that my belly "is getting so big!" Great. I'm only half way there. What are they going to think by the end?!!! It is fun though, since they really have an idea of what's happening this time around.

We will post again in the Spring when the baby arrives. So please check back then!

Our trip to Disneyland

We went to Newport Beach this week to visit Auntie CoCo - so of course we had to go to Disneyland on Friday! We all had the time of our lives - it was so much fun. The weather was perfect and the kids were beyond excited. We rode all of the classics - It's A Small World, Peter Pan's Flight, Snow White, Dumbo - and then of course the new rides like Astro Blasters (Toy Story!) and Finding Nemo Submarine Adventure. We also stood in line for AN HOUR to meet Tinkerbell at Pixie Hollow. The boys love Tinkerbell!!! Even Grace loved the rides and threw a fit when we had to get off of Its A Small World. It really was a dream come true.

Ready to enter the park.

Happy First Birthday Grace!

Gracie turned one year old on Thursday! We had a family party last Saturday, and spent her actual birthday in California visiting Auntie CoCo.

Grace, you are the most wonderful little girl in the world! You are adorable, funny and such a good girl for Mommy and Daddy. We love you so much and are so blessed to have you in our lives. Happy Birthday Gracie Bear!

The Arch

We took a trip to the Arch this weekend, thanks to the fact that summer weather finally actually appeared. Daddy had been wanting to do this for awhile, and the kids loved it. The boys couldn't believe how tall the Arch is, and liked watching the boats go by on the Mississippi River, which was flooded over the sidewalks. Of course they wanted to run in the water. Gracie enjoyed the Arch from the comfort of her stroller, and then we enjoyed a nice patio lunch on the Landing. Daddy was able to snap the above pic of the boys, which we love.

11 Months Old!

Gracie is 11 months old. How can this first year be almost over already?! We need more time!!! It has gone WAY too quickly!!

Grace has grown up so much in just the past few weeks. She has figured out how to move...but she doesn't crawl...she just scoots everywhere on her bottom! It is hilarious. She is beginning to pull up to stand and I think she'll just go from scooting to walking, and skip crawling altogether. She has no interest in being on her tummy and will push herself into the sitting position as soon as you try to put her on her hands and knees to teach her to crawl.

She talks up a storm and can say, "Dada", "Mama", "Night-Night (Ni-Ni)", and "All Done (A Da)." She looks like a little hippo or like she has fangs because her two front teeth have not come in yet but the next ones on each side are coming in first! We love you Gracie Bear!

Happy Easter!

Jack's New Look

Here's a great shot of Jack and his "new look". He had to have his front tooth pulled last week. He injured it when he was two and his body finally decided that it was time to be done with it. Jack was very brave for the whole thing and when he looked in the mirror and smiled he said, "I look older! I look like I'm six!" He does look older, which is a little sad. I wasn't expecting him to age two years in five minutes!!! But we love his new look.

Henry and Papa

I was looking at some baby pictures of my Dad today and it was like looking at pictures of Henry. Since Henry was born, lots of people have commented that he looks like my Dad. I never really saw much of it - until today! I didn't even have to try to find some similar pictures for this post - I just grabbed a few of Henry from last month and the similarities were obvious. The same shape face, hair, nose, smile, even their ears stick out a bit in the exact same way! Check it out.
